For a moment I looked behind
"Back to the past" i wanted to rewind
But all i could see were the wounds too unkind
All that reamined were d knots i couldn't unwind!
I couldn't stare at the carnage for long
Perhaps i wasn't that strong
To amend all that went wrong
I slinked away with the throng!!
Removing every single trace
I journeyed for that forlorn place
Where after my defeat in this life's race
There won't be anymore criticism to face!!
From there,
Life would no longer seem unfair
I would no longer need to care
Silently i can blend with the air!
As i return to earth
A new world i wud unearth
Don't call it death!
Let it be my new birth!
This life i wanna forget!
I am tired with so much i regret!
Throwin a final challenge to fate
With a defiant laugh!
I lit up my last cigarette!
As i sauntered towards my cenotaph!!
